On Sept 9, 2007 Emmy has earned 40 Double Q's(actually 44 now) and 1500 speed points!  Unbelievable! As far as I know, there are only 2 other MACH 2
Dalmatians.  She needed 10 pts entering the weekend and earned 9 on Saturday, completing the 60 second standard course in 50.20 seconds, leaving her
needing one point!  Sunday, we had a very tricky standard course, bars falling everywhere and off courses abounding.  I stood by the automated timer watching
the seconds tick away, while Emmy and Marie ran the course. She was 3 seconds under time, I grabbed the ribbon and MACH pole and ran out to let Marie know
they had done it.  The whole place erupted in cheers for the pair.  Marie is a VERY popular exhibitor and everyone was so happy for her.  Laurie Isaacson had
designed and made a special pole for her, which has been hidden and carted around for weeks. The whole victory lap Emmy kept leaping for the tassles on the
end of the pole.

Many don't know that last year Emmy lost the sight in her right eye. She is also unilateral. There was a long period of time when the possibility of Emmy ever
completing her MACH 2 seemed like a pipe dream.  Marie worked harder and smarter with Emmy (who loves the sport) and proved what a great team they are.

WHAT A CAREER SHE HAS HAD!

My beautiful and amazing Emmy officially retired from competition at age 9 on September 28th, 2008, as a 4-time agility champion including 42 agility titles,
multiple rally and obedience titles plus invitations to the 2006 and 2007 Agility Invitational held in Long Beach. She has qualified for AKC Nationals four times
and has earned Lifetime Point Awards from the North American Dog Agility Council.

Emmy has been in the agility "Top 10 Dalmatians" for several years and has been featured in at least seven breed and agility calendars. She has had cameo
appearances in "Clean Run" and "Front and Finish" as well as published articles in the "Spotter" breed magazine.

As a Delta Society Pet Partners Therapy Dog with her creative personality and vast repertoire of tricks, Emmy has made the residents at the Aegis Assisted
Living facility near our home, smile, laugh and beg for more.

She will continue to accompany me to future performance events to say "HI" to her friends and to support her brother, Luke, as he continues his own journey
down the competition path.

GOOD GIRL, EMMY!!!!!

She is loved and cherished by me and Lukie each and every day!
